Music Challenge

I have decided, that because I lost my entire iTunes library, that I would take this as an opportunity to discover some amazing new music. I would like to request that the few followers I do have on here suggest a new band or two or more to me so that I can expand my musical experiences...And Rachel, I know you are going to say Matthew Mayfield and The Civil Wars, but please add some others too!! :) lol.

Thank you in advance,
Amber Marie

p.s. I will be very sad if I don't get any suggestions. lol

  2. Actually, Rachel's computer has issues. Her keyboard is glitchy and she can't really type. At least that was the situation the last time I checked. lol.

Thanks! :) I can't buy any music at the moment, but I am making a list of what I want to buy as soon as I get my first paycheck.

I have heard of JJ Heller. I think I know a song or two. I will definitely look that song up on YouTube. And I know about Building429, but I didn't know that they came out with a new album recently. Thanks! :)

  3. Ok seriously my fave thing in the world!!!! obviously MM and TCW.

you should check out this band called Civil Twilight, especially the song "Quiet in my town" really sad but worth it. (link) v=hkzwIvTRRow Ooooooh Gavin Degraw, his 2 best songs are "Belief" and "I don't want to be."

Um as of Christian music 2 words.....Jesus Culture, Chris Quilala (yeah I can't pronounce it either...Kwee-lah-lah??? w/e...) is a BEAST!!!!! Boho's right, the new B429 is sweet!!!

JEEZ!!! There's sooo much amazing music out there. Let's see... hhhmmm... OOOOhhhhhh Sufjan Stevens!!!! My fave by him is "For the Widows in Paradise" (link) v=CVZcAzXWciQ

You should find some older stuff by Jars of Clay, like from the 90s old, because that was their best era. ANYTHING (literally) by NEEDTOBREATHE is amazing!!! they are really great live too, just saying. Best song: "Garden" LIVE (link) v=li8aiGtNyZo&feature=related

Going back to a softer rock, Matt Nathanson. My personal fave is "Wedding Dress." Fair warning, that song will surprise you. Hodges..."My side of the story" AMAZING.

MUMFORD AND SONS!!!! Their best are "Liar", "Blank White page" and "Lover of the Light". but all their stuff is good.

Ok so obviously i could go on and on but it's late and I'm tired. but i u want more txt me and i'll make a list..... have fun!
